It is very important that you should first generate a fairly huge number of targeted traffic in your website in order to rank high in search engines and get Adsense approval. To make this work, your blog should contain at least a specific topic on where people can be interested in. Do not create a blog that has many topics that are irrelevant to your website. You should also keep in mind that when you create your blogging website, it should be finished and clean. What this means is that there should be no broken links, no under construction pages, no too many animated gif files or too many pop up ads.
